So any truck made in 1940 should be labeled V something, VC, VF, etc.

The only way to figure out if a truck was military is to look for military details in the case of a 2wd, if it is a 4wd, and has a VC tag, then you need to look for other details to know if it was original.

Let me know what you are trying to figure out, and I will try and give you the details you need to look for.

Gordon may add his 0.0165551 of a Euro to this statment, he has lots more experiance with that era truck then I do.
