I'm restoring,three PWs,one pretty close to stock,one bone stock,and the third totally modified.
I figured the price of 4.89 gears,disc brakes,power steering,318 V8,synchro trans, etc,etc,etc.
I bought a '90 Dodge one ton 4x4 at state auction with full power, 360 V8,727 auto for 3,500. I'm planning on the '68 WM300 FFPW sheet metal with the '90 chassis.I think I should be money ahead this way as I'll do all the fabricating and welding myself.
