1. I wouldn't want to modify/hot rod/improve any pre 1951 Power Wagon because original is so much nicer.
2. My top speed is about 45 mph. The truck is pretty miserable on the highway.
3. I use to pull mine witha 1/2 ton Ford w/ straight 6. I never went too fast, followed too close, went anywhere hilly, or had any problem.
4. The stock truck is pretty fun off the road, but it is not a Baja racer. You tend to crawl over & through things rather than blast through them.
5. If you want a modern truck with Power Wagon looks, you can buy a fiberglass PW body and put it on a modern truck.
