The top speed is not as high as 50, comfortably. If the truck has 4.89 gearing (doubtful) in the diff's, then your top speed will be higher.

Trailering is a subject that often comes up on this forum. A PW is heavy, and requires professional attitude and experience. It would be imprudent to use a truck smaller than a 3/4 ton to pull a truck weighing 6,000 pounds on a trailer weighing 2500 pounds.

A fully-restored 100% original truck can fetch a bunch-o-money. Some collectors shy away from trucks that have been made more driver-friendly, unfortunately. They seem to feel that originality is worth a premium.
