Well Im online tonight looking at the forum, I have been without electric since Friday night at 10:00pm. I live about 30 miles south of daytona and 30 miles west of orlando in a town called Mims , Florida. When the storm came thru it was a cat.1 with wins from 70 to 80 mph, got real lucky only lost a few shingles and two 50 ft. trees on each side of the house.On my street we lost a total of 30 pines and around 20 oaks. The power wagon and command car was in my garage that I did twice the required codes on, and all are fine . I feel for the people where it came on shore at a cat.4.They sure took the brunt of the storm, I can only imagine if it would have came ashore on my cost first, just a note to all and glad to be reading the forum again.
