The rigging company where I bought my 7/16 fiber core cable told me that it was not really designed to wrap around a drum as small as the MU2/LU2/LU4. I would be leary of larger cable yet, and especially in stainless. See if you can find a rigging and slinging company in your local phone book to talk to.
