Thanks for the info.! I know that the Ramcharger used the NP208, but the application guide that I looked at showed the NP205 as an option also, that may be an error. (Some folks can't tell the difference, they are very similar, externally, except for the aluminum parts on the 208)
Most of the later NP205's where mated to 727's. One typo, the NP203 was used until 1975-1979.
I agree that there should be trucks equipped with NP435's married to NP205's from 1980 to 1992. In 1993 the Ram came out with the NP241.
In retrospect, I may have missed one when I pulled a HD Dana 44 out of an '85 W350. It more than likely had the NP435 and married NP205. = (.
