Norm: I had a '79 Ramcharger and it had a 727 with married NP203. From what I recall seeing, all Ramchargers from 74-79 had the NP203 then in 80-around 90 or so they had the NP208, then from around 90-93 they had a NP241 or something like that. I have yet to see any Ramcharger with a 205. The NP 203 Divorced made its Debut in Dodge trucks in 1969, and was used like that untill 1974, then from 1975-1970 ALL Dodge trucks used the NP203 Full time Married Transfer case, then in 1980 the Light duty applications recieved the NP208 Aluminum Chain drive, while the Heavier duty pickups recieved the married NP205 Gear drive. These choices continued thru 1993. Around 90-91 THe 208 was replaced by the NP241 or something like that. Every Dodge 4X4 from '75 up I have seen uses a married transfer case. For example, my '91 W-250 HD Cummins Powered Truck has a NP205 married to a 727. Back in High school , looked into buying a 1985 Dodge W-250 with a Np435 and a 205 married to it. I also know a local feller who has a 1983 W-350 SRW with a NP435 and a 205 Transfer. They are out there, but finding a 435 with a Married 205 in a Dodge is RARE! Good luck!
