Safety ans stability is always the number one consideration in My life. While the adding of the wheels does not give you that much more weight capacity. It makes for a greater amount of stability while braking and cornering. I could tell you the story about the time I was coming home from the rally with two PWs on a 48ft tripple and blew a rear tire got the truck over safely and drove to a truck stop. Guy behind me decided right then that a single wheel was not the vehicle to tow heavy loads over highways.Especially seeing one of these vehicles on the trailer was his. 3500s are just more and we all know more is better. But as my Family is found of saying only you know how much you're horse is worth. Trailer is proably 7200# and Electric brakes so where is all the weight shiffting at speed you are not only carring but dragging. I am sure there are any number of people out here in disagreement whith my statement but you know me I got to tell you what I think.
