Dually is infinitely better towing.
I went from a SRW 93 Cummins to a DRW Cummins & they can not be compared on the highway towing.
Is the First Gen dually a rough ride....Yes!
Is the First Gen SRW 3/4 ton a rough ride...Yes!
2 wheel, 4 wheel they ride like a proper truck.
If you want smooth go to a coil spring truck post 1994.
If you tow lots then dually is the only way to go. If you only tow 1000 mile/year or so a SRW truck will likely be better for you around town but if you call that town where you live...you should try downtown Vancouver in a dually!
