Either you have extra steel welded to it or some unstock stuff added on or that was the weight of the FFPW with stuff to be dumped still on it or the scales are wrong because just too many PW owners have weighed their stock trucks with and without winches and 6000 lbs seems about 500lbs over the max. curb weight of a stock truck (w/ PU bed) I'm
not saying your truck doesn't weigh 6000 lbs., but I am saying I percieve it is not exactly stock either. Hasn't someone posted a published curb weight for a stock FFPW with
PU bed? Surely that info must have been published somewhere at sometime or another?
We rehash this subject fairly regularly, why cant we agree on a factory curb weight with a PU bed and have it posted perm. as the gospel according to Dodge!?
