You've kept us abreast of the auction and the whole ordeal since then. If you haven't kept a running diary type ledger, go back through the archives for dates when things transpired. Take it all to a lawyer, pay him a fee to just be aware of the situation, and enjoy the truck (or sell it to me!). IF... a big IF... somewhere down the line you are contacted by a nephew or lawyer, tell them to talk to your "mouth-piece", that's what they're there for. Keep the returned certified letters and everything together for the lawyer. You have "exhausted every means possible to contact the 'owner'" and that's all the law usually requires.
