I have put a Cummins 4BTA, NV-4500, and NP-205 in my WC-53 Carryall. This istall is no different than installing in a WDX or WM-300.

Keep in mind everything needs to be fabricated, very little is available right off the shelf. There are no cookbook type instructions, its really you and the project. If you have experience in designing needed items, can do quality welds, and have access to steel and parts its a challanging job, but with great rewards. Its very costly, if you have all the equipment to do everything your self, NOTHING farmed out, figure $8000 to 9000 dollars and be very happy if you have change left.

However, if you dont have a full shop, and the needed funding for the entire project, I would suggest using a 318 gas'er. I have also done that on my WM-300. For this conversion, there is a lot available from Helitool to make it much easier and much cheaper. Look at www.uglytruckling.com

I have full pictures of both the CHrysler 318 conversion and the Cummins 4BTA conversion at my Image Event Site

The web address is www.imageevent.com/paulandtam look at the Carryall and Bumblebee albums.

If you get 'seriously' involved in the Diesel conversion, I will help you as much as possible with Ideas and Part Numbers, and How I did it. But I caution you, Its Bloody Expensive, and not quick

Paul
