I bought a set of the hub protectors seen on Ebay. They are very well made, rugged, simple and even look good in a Power Wagon sort of way. Installation is a breeze and they are priced very reasonably at about $50 dollars. Very reasonable unless all you have is time, and want to spend forever frigging around making your own. One suggestion on the installation. If you dont have a 9/16" Gearwrench, go buy one for this. It will fit in the wrench holes ALOT better than an open end wrench.
They work with Selectro and Superwinch hubs.
