Hauling stuff all the way here to Scotland is expensive too. You just know when Customs officials get involved everyone is adding their bill to the price, and you can't really argue.
I know someone in Canada that has a couple of items on offer right in the middle of Alaska, but apparently even river freight doesn't get there and the cost of airlifting out isn't worth it.
