It was driving all the time, draging down the engine. The truck had air brakes on the trailer and an air horn. there was a pop-off valve and presure gegulator on the tank.

You are right about the AC compressor, as long as it's getting lubricent. If you look at the photo, you will see this one was oiled by the engine oil system.

I always figured I'd go electric if I ever added an air compressor.
