If its the Chrysler 331, it's going to be a really tight fit. It it's the low deck desoto, it fits in a little bit better. I think with the big Chrysler you will have the same cooling problems as with the BB 383-440 wedge motors. My suggestion would be to sell the 331 or trade it and get a 315 Dodge Red Ram hemi. It's still going to be a tight fit, but you wont be cutting parts out of your frame and taking metal off the mounting surface of your steering box to get it in there.
