have owned a MaxII for over 9 yrs and have had many great times roaming around here around the Phoenix area. i have been pretty rough on the beast and had only a few minor problems. i've discovered the weak points and made some modifications but these are very reliable with the 4 cycle engines. one thing that needs mentioning is after riding several hours you get an aching back due to the lack of any suspension. quite a bumpy ride. am considering selling mine ...dont ride much now that i have a P.W. to play with.
