The difference between a locking diff. and conv. diff. are like night and day. I have not used the lock-right but I have "NoSpin" diff. in all my 1 tons including my two Chev. K-30s. Also called "Detroit Locker". In mud and snow I keep front hubs locked in but, use 4x4 half as much as I used to. It is very impressive the difference they make. Well worth the time and money to install. However, must be cautious on wet or icy roads , because over accelerating will cause the rear end to "step-out" {fish-tail} and can be dangerous. You will not regret installing one. Front locking diff. are for more serious use and are not needed unless you go off-road a lot, I think. TGP
