In CA , the Coastal Commission is requiring home owners along the coat to camoflauge or remove their homes, ...if a boater complains of "visual pollution" of their view of a pristene, virgin coastline. No permits are allowed to build any new homes that can be seen from the ocean.....Yep this is real! If I was one of the few that could afford the land there (high cost because of runaway regulations) I think I'd sue the boat owners for "ruining" my view of an unobstructed ocean...! ha!
LUBE, what are the zoning laws, convenants and restrictions in your area? Is there anything in your deed or purchase agreement that mentions this? Is there in fact zoning? The garage or repair facility idea is one I like!
