added some more comments near the begining of this forum -
If you were a tire man then you know that split rims must be inflated in a cage or with the use of a restraing device - any thing wrong with that advice ??
do not know where you worked in the tire business or where you take your truck tires for service but when i was in "the business"
we had 30+ stores all our heavy service tire men were long past (10 to 40+ years past)the age of 16 , Union Members and sure got paid more than the min wage
and what is wrong with suggesting that someone read Cabell's page (or Paul's on the best of) regards tires and wheels - He has put together a site that any professional would respect .
there is a lot of information so plan to spend some time reading.
and if you are a tire man then you know that truck tires are not that hard to work on just
have to work smart (never lift with your back always use tire bars as levers to do the heavy work).
