Just so us hobbyists who are not constrained by occupational liabilities can learn how to do such highly technical things like how to change a tire. And can you reccomend your own alma mater, or did you use the archaic system of on the job training? It's a wonder any of the old timers survived thier apprenticeships. I for one feel glad to be protected in the workplace by OSHA, and our employers are lucky too- look at how much worker's comp has come down sice OSHA arrived to protect us all!

Mike, please keep up the good work of reccomending us amateurs to go read the book, get schooled, trust in other's official training, and not to learn anything on our own- why, we don't even recognise the pitfalls of our own confidence and pure animal intelligence. I think we ought to have a constitutional amendment requiring a federal lisence to work on a motor vehicle. WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN!

Sincerely
Chris
