Ok, that is established. Now, as this guy has a rolling chassis, with 1/2 ton sheetmetal without a cab and isnt interested in restoring to original. Would a civillian PW cab and hood work with a 1/2 ton radiator shell and front fenders? Trying to get him set up with a functional yet not necesarily authentic body.
So why were the 1/2 ton cabs mounted up so high? Was it simply to avoid having a center hump in the floor?
