Hey Guys, I need some advice

My neighbor was given an old "excaliber" which has been sitting in storage for 20+ years. This is a fiber glass body vehicle with spare tires set in the running boards, or so I'm told.

How should we go about preparing this vehicle's engine for starting?? Should it be overhauled before starting?? It also has an automatic transmission. Same question??

I will appreciate your thoughts regarding the above. I posed the question here as I know you guys go through these situations with your Power Wagon.
