I know there have been a few done, I need to talk to those that have done it. Goods, bads, pros, cons, dos, donts and any other help is greatly appreciated.

I'm building a "modified" trailtruck(Sam Goin was my inspiration, from our Ca. trip) and have found a 383 w/727 from a donar vehicle that I'm considering using.

So far what I've got is a PW cab and front sheetmetal on a WC52 chasis that I relocated the spring hangers and stretched the wheelbase to apx. 104". I mounted a two speed t/c from a PW but that can be removed in favor of the married t/c set-up. As soon as I have the motor and trans-t/c in place I can take it all apart and sandblast&paint and build the roll cage.

Trying to have it together for Pat &Wanda's in Sept.
