metinks your body mounts have sagged. On lifting the body off, my frame shows grooves worn into it where the body hits. Fenders are mounted to frame, if the body sags the hood drops too...and all that frame contact conducts noise.

Anybody find Polyurethane mounts that fit? Maybe a Jeep lift kit?
