I'm not surprised. There is no real good way to keep grease between the axle and the bushing. In the initial assembly the bushings get well greased. After running for awhile the grease goes away and can't really be replaced without tearing everything apart again. The bronze bushings are probably oil impregnated so I guess that's the lube it gets and that's why they last only 12,000 miles. Am I wrong?
