Coolant problems

While on roadtrip at Iowa rally my WDX (with 230)started running a little hot.Truck usually runs 160 degrees but was running closer to 180. Didn't drive much more out there other than parade which it did ok. When we got home I changed waterpump & thermostate. While checking for leaks headgasket started leaking.Shut truck off & when I restarted it anifreeze flew out tailpipe probley 10 feet.Had head checked & they took .017 off.Put on new headgasket. Didn't change water dis. tube it looked good. When I filled up radiator coolant ran out tailpipe as fast as I put it in. Never started truck. Anybody got any ideas whats going on? Thank for any help.
