Spent the afternoon pulling the 318 out of my TownWagon so I can get it rebuilt. The rings are really shot, three cylinders had oil fouled plugs that were so bad it's hard to believe it ran as well as it did. I have to get it back together before we go to the Green Mountain rally in August. One unexpected thing I did find is that my right exhaust manifold is cracked, does anyone have a spare or a place to get a set of headers? I can't wait to see how this 318 runs with an overhaul since it did pretty well before except for the blowby on the rings. Hope everyone is having a happy and safe 4th, I am.
