Yes, both are 4x4's. I thought that all of the pickups ran the 4.1 gears, but I guess not. The pumpkins are the same for all the pickups until the V6's came out, so one from a 2WD should drop in if the ratio is the same. I have a couple more "parts trucks" at the farm, but I think they were all 4speeds. I will check on the weekend. It would be REALLY NICE if they listed the rear end ratio on the door tag the way Dodge/Fargo did back in the 50's/60's. (I wasn't going to pay the price for the 59 Fargo 1/2ton I got a few years ago, then I read "4.10 Sure Grip" on the door tag, and the price seemed a lot better)
