Hi Ron,
I wish it was as simple as that. Two are sticking out and I am confidant I can get them out with the heat. I will try y=our candle trick. The other 2 are flush or below the surface.
As for the running boards, I have received compliments, OK, a compliment, Neil thought they looked great.
Bought a new camera today, A Pentax Optio s40. Now I need to learn how to use it.
I will let you know how the teardown goes on the GMC.
