Forgetting all else, before you go 50 miles in a PW, your back will be killing you. Pw's were not built for comfort. Look at a new Dodge 3500 CTD, with a 6 speed and Jacobs E Brake. It will handle your load with ease and in comfort. I just towed over 2300 miles, GCVW of 19,500#, in comfort, and total control.
