My was changed to a negative ground and the generater was turned up to 9.2 volts 8.2 at the regulater to the battery and has been that way almost 5 years. No real problems cost about $15.00 for the shop to do it. I have one of those big DEWalt radios with the battery charger built in cant hardly hear it in the cab signal interferance is bad, and the noise level is high. So I just listen to the pleasing sounds of wore gears, bad shifts, horns blowing and the wind pouring through every orifice in the cab and sing those great power wagon cruising songs like the theme song from Rawhide ROLLIN, ROLLIN,Rollin, I can't drive 55,and I laugh a lot at all the idgit drivers passing me.
