He thinks the halftrack conversion may be a Lynne. I know plenty about Model A's, but nothing about these conversions. Where could I learn more about them. Can anybody suggest any books, articles, clubs, forums...?

Obviously from the photos, Otwell is just the brand of the manifold heater. It is defintely Ford-powered.
