why not just take a run a HUGE hydralic pump off the front of the engine, like what some tractors do for the front end loader, or garbage trucks and the like? You should have more than enuff capacity to run the Power steering and winch with no problem at all. Besides, It'd be a direct coupling to the engine, not a belt drive like a PS and would not slip like the belt when the load gets tuff. Just a thought?

Also if you were to run the P.S. off your PTO, seeing how the PTO is geared down compared to engine speed, would the PTO turn fast enuff to give you good working P.S?
