After attending the VPW rally in '93, I was inspired to start the Camp Grayling Color Tour with the military vehicle collectors here in Michigan. The 24th-26th of September will be our 12th event to date. Unfortunately due to insurance restrictions, the event has only been open to members of the military vehicle collectors organizations. It is a requirement of the state that any group using public property for an 'organized' activity must have a $1 million liability policy. With no Power Wagon collectors group to obtain such a policy, the military vehicle collectors have been very happy to step up and have done a very good job.
