I didn't get the chance to go to the rally but I did make it 1000 miles to Wisconsin in my 58 running it on the floor the whole way this last November. She would do about 65 and hold it. Well that was until the block gave way about four hours into the trip home. Since she is bored 80 over you can't really blame the ol girl for giving up. I am working on another flathead to put in her until I graduate college. I don't have the money for sleeves. Plus the crank has been turned down as far as she can go. She will be getting a 383 or 400 and a np435 transmission. I want to pass people with my 58 and have them in awe.
