Don't you just love it when tv or radio news shows have someone wail their sad tale in their native tongue and then proceed to translate right over the top of them. This is particularly vexing to people who understand both languages involved. And the translators don't always get it right or are being downright deceitful.
Or maybe I'm just ruffled 'cause I'm stuck here at work while most of the rest of California seems to have taken the day off.
