Hemi Dodge Truck

I've come to ask for guidance once more. I've located a 49-50 Dodge half ton with a hemi. Man says its smaller than a 392 and he thinks it has a 3 spd. floor shift. He bought it in a estate auction 20 years ago and has done nothing with it. Says it turns over its a complete truck. Asking 1500 cash. So my questions are is the truck worth this much not running???? and what kind of hemi engine would it have (where the hemi's made in 49?. So I'm calling out to experts to help me out on this one and see if the guy is being reasonable.
