Yup, they take your land to sell to somebody else to make him a profit. The public interest is served by the higher taxes paid by the newly developed properties. But the old owner is denied the profits from his property that he may have been holding to make an eventual gain by doing his own development. Isn't this called "RESTRAINT OF TRADE"?
