Also the 300 fenders are taller and they have those great running boards.

My favorite front is the one with four headlights. I put that on my '67, which was one of the pie pan headlight ring years. The W300 has all of the aerodynamic beauty of a concrete block on wheels. Truly, they are remarkable trucks.

Years ago when I drove mine to work at this company, there was a young guy who was a great Ford nut. My W300 has a 440 in it and an OD 5-spd. He was kind of fascinated by it, but could not quite bring himself to admit that he liked it.

I told him that back home when we dragged the fields after plowing, I would take two Fords, take the wheels off, chain them end to end, and drag this homely assembly sideways through the field with my W300. that seemed to upset him visibly.
