Up here, Versatile tractors made a bi-directional, articulated frame, chore tractor that used a Dana 70HD dif. at both ends. They had gear reduction drop boxes at both ends to gain ground clearance, and to reduce the output rpm to the tractor tires. Lots of them came with some form of limited slip dif. The HD housing uses bigger axle tubes, but was still not heavy enough for what local farmers used them for. Ditch Witch also uses Dana 60 or 70 axles with limited slips or lockers at both ends, depending on the model and the options. These are all nonsteering, rear axle type housings, but some of the internal parts may interchange. If I remember right, the Ditch Witches had some pretty wild gearing (6.17) in them. J.V.L.
