joe- were there no cast iron manifolds that would work? Cast iron is low tech, but they are less prone to leak. although the guy at kansas kustom is known to split and modify the flat head 6 stuff, he should be able to modify a stock cast manifold to address whatever clearance problem you are having. its just a thought.
