Been thinking a lot about you and the rest of our troops lately. Wanted you guys to know that the garbage dominating the press the last couple of weeks is just election year vomit. The country is behind you and your mission. Sometimes the drum beating from the anti-American left, the press and others, gets unbearable and we start to second guess our purpose, our mission and our goals. Know this; Iraq is key to the war against terror. If we were not trying to change history in the middle east we would be fighting attacks on our own soil, not there. We may still have more attacks at home, but every dirtbag that you guys take down in Iraq is one less that can get here and harm our nation.
Stay the course, and know that you are appreciated and know that the vast majority of us are behind you guys 100%.
The hate America first crowd claims to "support the troops but be against the war", I'd like to point out the hypocracy in that statement. If you support the troops you MUST support their mission, the two are inseperable.
You stay safe, We are proud of you!
