Please don't use heat. Get a cobalt #10 drill bit and take the head off only. Use a wood block and tap the frame apart. Make some new blocks from stainless with 10-32 threads in them. The connector blocks are slightly bent so don't try to install straight ones-- it will preload the frame. The screws MUST be really short so you don't hit the glass with them on reinstallation
