As far as I know, all the early hemi's shared the same bellhousing bolt pattern. As for the trans bolt pattern, that would depend upon what they had behind them to begin with, but the engines should interchange if you have everything from the crank flange back as a unit. The 354 truck engine will have the thermostat and top rad hose coming out of the front of the intake manifold, while the 392 has them on a seperate water manifold that bolts to the front of the heads. For a front motor mount, the truck engines usually mount off of the cast iron water pump/timing cover housing, while the later car engines use the bolt lugs on the sides of the block. Some of the lighter duty 354 poly truck engines used the "car" side mounts and the tin timing cover, but I'm not sure which water pump style they used. I think that if the crank is machined for a timing chain instead of gears, you can swap all of the car pieces onto the truck engine.

What size of truck is the engine from? Do you know what the block numbers are? They are stamped into the machined surface on the top of the block, just in front of the lifter valley cover. There was a lot of variation in the internal parts depending on what the engine application was. The block # would help narrow it down. J.V.L.
