Will, I looked up the drag link in my WWII dodge manual and it shows the wheel end has the inboard spring (it is very clear). So the picture in your post is of the pitman end. The pitman end should have the spring outboard of the ball. I am sure it is that way on power wagon. I would scan this page but my scanner is broke. Call me if you want to.
