The guy I use does import OHC engines all the time, and he could make that good as new.
Find a good shop, and let them at it, or take Mike up on his offer.
I would call around and find out what shop in your area does a lot of aluminum welding, and after checking some of their work, let them at it.
I would bet less then $100, maybe less then $50 and you will never know it was damaged.
