Will,

Find a screwdriver with the hex for putting a wrench on it that has a tip that fits the slot well.

Make sure the slot is clean of dirt, a small pick works well for this.

Then heat the screw up until it is warm to hot.

Any rubber, or the glass may start to smoke, so what I do is break the glass out (wear eye protection!) and scrape out all the rubber first.

Then place your screwdriver in the slot, and push down with one hand, while using the wrench to move the screwdriver.

Try going both directions, and be careful not to damage the slot. If it wont turn try more heat. Once it starts to move it should come out without much trouble, but if it does get stiff again apply more heat.

PB Blaster and the like are not that useful in this case, as there is little chance of any of the chemical getting into the threads, plus if you do have to use heat that stuff smokes pretty bad!

Good luck!

Eric
