I agree, 500 schoolbusses are not that rare, we had several here in central Missouri when I was a kid, HOWEVER, a W500 is probably a bit less common. Never seen one. Maybe out of Kansas or Iowa where the roads tend to get really muddy during the freeze / thaw cycle? We had a W500 straight truck and it was unstoppable with those 6.88 gears and wideblock 318. Sold it last summer and it is getting a full restoration now. Neat, BIG, rigs.
